Layer: NZL_GNS_GM6_aeromagnetic_interpretation_line - TMI RTP, first vertical derivate (ID: 373)

Parent Layer: From 1st vertical derivative Total Magnetic Intensity, reduced to pole

Name: NZL_GNS_GM6_aeromagnetic_interpretation_line - TMI RTP, first vertical derivate

Display Field: anomaly_type

Type: Feature Layer

Geometry Type: esriGeometryPolyline

Description: This data layer represents linear aeromagnetic anomaly features (lineaments and boundaries) interpreted from a first vertical derivative of total magnetic intensity, reduced to pole image. The source data were collected as part of airborne geophysical surveys of the West Coast in 2013 and Murchison in 2017 commissioned by the New Zealand Government and published under Mineral Reports MR5000 and MR5400 respectively. The data describes the extent and nature of an anomaly feature's magnetic characteristics expressed in terms of relative frequency and amplitude, and a geological interpretation of the anomalous feature. This layer was produced by GNS Science and is part of the dataset associated with Tulloch, A.J.; Cooper, A.F.; Smith Lyttle, B. 2019: Geology of the Victoria Range area 1:50 000. GNS Science geological map 6. Lower Hutt, New Zealand. GNS Science.
